In an exciting development, the feature length script for the graphic novel Clawed Predator has been selected as a finalist at The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction and Supernatural Film Festival in New York. This is a popular festival and hard to gain entry. To be selected to make it through the rounds to the final is an impressive achievement. This tops the last few months which have been rich in writing.
Meanwhile, the screenplay Dust on the Wind has advanced in the ISA Fast Track Fellowship 2025, moving to the second-round selection in an amazingly competitive international writer’s competition.
Over the past few months, I have been working on two new one-act plays which are now sailing out to theatre companies to see if any take it up. The first is a stage play, The New Caesars, a tale of reason in the age of stupidity. Then for something completely different, I just put the finishing touches on a play for radio, The Last Line in the Sand.  Two contemporary tales.
Great to see writing success across the board in 2025. The new quill pen is working hard.
